A big welcome to Microsol, the latest startup to join our portfolio!

Microsol is building seriously impressive tech to shake up the world of inhaled medicines. Founded by Dr. Dan Hardy, they’ve developed a way to analyse aerosol particles at a microscopic level—helping pharma companies design better, smarter respiratory drugs.

It’s the 55th Earth Day, and so it seems appropriate to reveal AIB has completed its seventh investment - in Cornwall-based Tidal-Power company, Inyanga Marine Energy Group.

We’re really pleased to announce our investment in Canned Wine Group | B Corp™. It’s the sixth funding round we’ve been involved in since our launch, and we join Canned Wine at an important time of their journey as they look to scale.

Anya leverages leading AI technology and healthcare experts to provide 24/7 support and companionship throughout women’s health journeys including fertility, pregnancy, parenting, menopause, and menstrual health.

Our members were impressed with the app and the traction founder Dr Chen Mao Davies and the Anya team had made in rolling out its award-winning Health Tech start-up.

distil.ai uses data science and AI to aggregate numerous and disparate data sources to generate invaluable Management Information for the restaurant and hospitality sector.

distil.ai can take booking information from sites such as Opentable and combine it with point of sale information, venue wifi data, social media ad tracking, email marketing data and loyalty scheme information - amongst many other sources - to create a highly valuable “single customer view” and a data tool that can help markedly improve both sales and operations.

Intelligent AI, which has offices in Newquay and Exeter, has developed a digital solution for insurers and property owners to improve the speed, efficiency and accuracy of property risk assessments, leading to reduced costs and more appropriate policies.

AIB is part of a wider £800k raise, led by the British Business Bank Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Investment Fund, managed by The FSE Group.
